Last night I dreamt my mother and I were trying to escape a marshy lake. She was driving. Wouldn’t stop to let me untie the ropes. Eventhough we were moving, still tied. In school. The rooms were different. I had a class to teach but all the rooms were taken. Looked downstairs to the left-full. Students changed from adults to children. They yelled, “we want class.” I left saying I’d be back in a minute. I went to car. Piled with kids. I scraped them off and drove. Halfway down the road I ran out of gas. I was close. Walked. Got home, then road my bike to school. Boss was nice. My family was visiting. We chatted looking at the sky. That night I drove my car downtown looking for gas. Saw big gas station, then smaller one. I turned around into a video game parlor. Friends were there. I said hello. Went to smaller gas station. It was dark and eerily lit. my sister showed and read a Taiwanese movie poster. Described the plot. Said she’d studied it for a year. Got a ride home from some people. Windy road. The driver had legs out the window. Driving with a remote. He and wife showed me how to use it while washing dishes. Kid asked my name. I told. They were confused. I was at a castle with my family. Going through a maze of jungle gyms. Looked through holes. Someone explained sitting in a chair for an hour a day for nine months could solve any problem. Walked down road asking smi how to leave. Someone was rude to him. Smi gave directions looking defeated. I made it out with my mom.
